The German Agricultural Marketing Board, located in Alexandria, Virginia, represents the interests of Germany's food and beverage exporters and provides a variety of complementary services for all trading partners and consumers in the United States and Canada, including:

• Advising exporters and their importers about food law, labeling and import regulations as well as market trends in the US and Canada
• Representing German food exporters to the government, non‐governmental and industry organizations at industry events and trade fairs
• Connecting German exporters with US and Canadian importers, distributors and retailers
• Providing distributors and retailers with product information, promotion funds and point‐of‐sales materials
• Educating consumers on German cuisine, where to purchase German foods and beverages in the United States and Canada and how to use them for a variety of meal occasions
• Creating consumer awareness and interest through large‐scale advertising, sampling, public relations campaigns
