Sweet-tart rosehip jam creates an elegant sauce for this German-Asian stir-fry. Add cooked chicken or beef for a complete meal.

Stir Fry Noodles with Rosehip-Balsamic Sauce (Nudeln mit Hagebutten Balsamic Sosse)
Ingredients
- 1-1/4 cup Maintal Bavarian Rosehip Fruit Spread
- 1/4 cup white balsamic vinegar
- 2/3 cup spicy vegetable stock
- 16 oz thin ribbon noodles
- 1 zucchini julienned
- 1 carrot julienned
- 1 onions julienned
- 1 red bell pepper julienned
- 1 green bell pepper julienned
- 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
- 1 tbsp freshly ginger finely chopped
- Salt pepper
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds toasted
- 1 spring onion finely chopped
- little bit of parsley or chive chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Bring Rosehip Fruit Spread, balsamic vinegar, and vegetable broth to boil and season with salt and pepper.
- Boil noodles until al dente and cool in cold water.
- Quick fry garlic, vegetables, and ginger either in a wok or a large pan. Add noodles, stir well and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Coat with the sauce and garnish with roasted sesame seed and herbs.
- We recommend adding cooked poultry or strips of filet marinated in an Asian ginger marinade.
