
Charoset for Passover
Charoset is a classic standard dish, typically served after the Passover Seder. This recipe is made with apples, walnuts, dried cranberries, honey and sweet red wine. It forms a fruity-paste that can be spread on matzah bread. This sweet dish can be served warm or cold
Instructions
- Peel and chop apples
- Place the apples, walnuts and cranberries in a large bowl
- Mix the cinnamon and sugar in with the apples and walnuts
- Add the honey and wine to the mix in the bowl
- Stir thoroughly until a desired consistency is reached
- Refrigerate for at least twenty minutes
