Waffle Cones (Eiswaffeln)
Waffle cones are not difficult to make at home, and kids love to help make them. You can find good waffle cone makers at Williams Sonoma and on Amazon.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 2/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1-1/8 cups milk
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- dash of cinnamon optional
Instructions
- Pour the melted butter into a bowl. Mix in the powdered sugar bit by bit. Add the milk. Lastly add the flour, vanilla extract, and dash of cinnamon (if desired) to form the dough.
- Allow the dough to sit for 30 minutes.
- Using a Waffle Cone Maker, follow manufacturer’s directions. Makes about 14 waffle cones.
