Apricot Fruit Muesli for Athletes

Oat flakes mixed with yogurt, apricot jam, seeds, fresh fruits and berries constitutes a nutritious and energy-rich breakfast for athletes that tastes great and is easy to make.

  • 1-1/2 cups oat flakes such as Kölln
  • 12 oz plain yogurt
  • 3/4 cup apricot spread
  • 1/2 cup mixed seeds such as pine nuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chopped almonds)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 apple
  • 1 pear
  • 1 orange
  • 2 kiwis
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries (eg. raspberries, strawberries, red currants)
  • juice from a fresh lemon


  • Mix the yogurt with the apricot spread. Add sugar or honey to taste.
  • Mix the berries with lemon juice and the peeled, seeded and chopped fruits.
  • Mix oat flakes and seeds in a bowl, add fruit and pour the yogurt-apricot mix on top.
