Panna Cotta mit Spargel
White asparagus is typically thought of as a side dish for a main meal. However, in this interesting take on an Italian classic, white asparagus is used to enhance a Panna Cotta dessert.

Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups white asparagus
- 2/3 cups cream
- 2/3 cups kefir
- 2 sheets gelatin
- salt
- nutmeg
Instructions
- Peel the asparagus and cut it into thin slices
- Add the slices of asparagus with the cream in a bowl and heat it for 20 minutes over a low flame
- Sieve out the asparagus and add the other ingredients to the mix
- Stir thoroughly before pouring the mix into glasses
- Refrigerate for at least three hours to let the panna cotta settle before enjoying
