Swabian Pancakes

Course Breakfast


  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • dash of salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup mineral water
  • 1/8 cup butter for frying
  • parsley and chives


  • Mix flour, water, eggs, salt, and sugar in a bowl, forming thin dough. Let the dough soak for 20 minutes. Add chopped parsley and chives.
  • In a skillet, heat up a little of the butter to grease the pan for each pancake. Pour only a minimal amount of dough in order to make thin pancakes. Fry on medium heat until both sides are golden brown.
