Indian Chicken Casserole
Indische Hühnchen Kasserole
This is an easily prepared dish with tons of flavor. The pan-roasted chicken is simmered in broth, German curry ketchup and yogurt which imparts an oriental, "Indo-German" flavor.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 onions
  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Salt
  • chili pepper
  • 7 tablespoons chicken broth 100 ml
  • 7 ounces Hela Curry Spice Ketchup Original 200 g
  • 3-1/2 fluid ounces yogurt 200 ml
  • 2 teaspoons wheat flour
  • 3-1/2 ounces raisins 100 g


  • Cut the chicken in strips, cut onions and garlic into thin slices. Fry everything in a pan and season with salt and chili pepper.
  • Put everything into a pot, then add chicken broth and Hela Curry Spice Ketchup Original. Close the lid and boil for about five minutes.
  • Mix the yogurt with the flour and add to the mixture, simmer for another five minutes. Add the raisins and serve.
  • Serve with rice.
