Mixed Salad with Blue Cheese and Red Wine Jelly Mustard Vinaigrette

Salad with Gorgonzo and Red Wine Jelly

  • 4 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 2 tbsp Bavarian beer vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper coarse
  • 1/2 tsp mustard hot
  • 1 tsp red wine jelly
  • 1 bag mixed salad
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese
  • 1 yellow pepper


  • Add 4 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil to a small bowl. Slowly whisk in 2 tbsp of balsamic vinegar
  • Add 1/4 tsp of kosher salt. Add 1/4 tsp course ground black pepper
  • Whisk in 1/2 tsp of hot mustard Whisk in 1 tsp of red wine jelly
  • Cut yellow pepper into strips
  • Dice blue cheese
  • Add salad to bowl and toss
  • Serve on plates, add yellow pepper and cheese cubes
