Poppy Seed Black Forest Egg Noodles

Egg Noodles from the Black Forest

  • 1 8.8 oz. Egg Noodles Black Forest Brand
  • 3 quarts water
  • 1 1/2 tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds


  • Follow cooking directions on the egg noodle package. Additionally add 1 TSP of extra virgin olive oil to salted water before boiling.
  • Drain noodles when tender.
  • Transfer noodles to a serving dish and toss with 2 TBSP of butter.
  • Add ½ TSP of kosher salt and stir to combine with warm noodles. Add 1 TSP of poppy seeds and stir to evenly distribute seeds.
  • Serve immediately.
