Bahlsen’s original butter Leibniz biscuit topped with a delicious layer of European Dark Chocolate. A delicious and crispy butter cookie that melts in your mouth. Named after the famous mathematician and philosopher Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz (1646 – 1716), a co-inventor of calculus and computing machines. The fine, buttery taste of this cookie was one of the reasons a jury at the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair awarded Bahlsen the gold medal.
Since 1889, Bahlsen has been one of the leading cookie producers in Germany. The company is based in Hannover and specializes in delicious gingerbread and butter cookies.

- We ship heat-sensitive products (sausages, breads, chocolates) all year round. During warm temperature months – between May and September – we will wrap perishables in cool shield foil with and ice packs and add an automatic shipping surcharge of $2.00 for the extra packaging during these months. The cool shield will protect the product for 1-2 days in most cases, but we highly recommend that you choose Next Day, 2nd Day am or 3rd Day delivery options, if you want reduce the risk of damage to heat-sensitive products. We will not provide guarantees or refunds.
Best By Date: OCTOBER 2021. The products are safe to eat and do not lose quality for three months after the Best By date.
