Product Description

Salinos are licorice candies beloved in the Rhineland and Netherlands for many decades. With a uniquely trapezoid shape, they have a distinct sweet-salty flavor and are deliciously chewy.

In 1922, 29 year old German candy maker Hans Riegel introduced a revolutionary new product to candy fans in his native Bonn: the gummy bear. Besides the gummy bears, Haribo also features original Rhineland licorice treats, such as these well known salty licorice trapezoids, called Salinos. Made in Germany.

Please note: we procure Haribo gummy candies from a variety of importers. Most products are made at a Haribo facility in Germany and packed in German-language bags. We mention “Made in Germany” in the title and provide net weight in Grams. These products are usually priced just under $4.00. Other products are made for the US at worldwide Haribo manufacturing facilities, including Germany, Spain Turkey, or Brazil. These products are packed in US-language bags. We list the net weight in Ounces in the title and the product price is usually just under $3.00.
