The “Salatkrönung” (lit. salad coronation) is a line of salad dressing mixes with carefully selected herbs, spices and natural flavors. Just add 3 tbsp. water and 3 tbsp of oil per pack. I tbsp = 15 ml liquid dressing.. You’ll get a great taste experience custom-made for specific salad greens, vegetable and other fresh ingredients.
The sweet-sour note of Balsamico vinegar and herbs matches well with tomatoes and mozzarella. The flavor profile of Knorr Salatkrönung Balsamico & Herbs emphasizes parsley and oregano, accented by balsamico vinegar powder, and hints of mustard, onion and garlic.

TOMATO, RED LEAF LETTUCE AND PROSCIUTTO SALAD
- 100g ciabatta bread
- 1 clove garlic
- 6 tbsp. olive oil
- 400g beef tomatoes
- 50g arugula salad
- 1 red leaf lettuce head
- 70g Parmesan
- 50g Parma ham (or Black Forest Schinken)
- Cut bread into small cubes. Peel garlic and chop finely. Fry bread cubes and garlic briefly in 2 tbs.hot olive oil and let cool.
- Wash tomatoes, remove stem and cut into small cubes. Wash red leaf and arugula lettuce, pat dry and tear into bite-size pieces. Cut ham into lengthy strips and grate cheese.
- Mix content of 2 bags Knorr Salatkrönung Balsamic Herbs with 6 tbsp. water and remainig 4 tbsp. olive oil. Combine dressing, tomatoes, rucola and red leaf lettuce pieces. Top with ham, cheese and garlic croutons. Serve.
