This type of cold cut sausage became very popular in the 19th century, served in the afternoon as savory snack, alongside cookies, slices of cakes, and a cup of tea. Teawurst has a slightly tangy flavor and creamy texture, which makes it an ideal bread spread.

• This sausage product is frozen. The freezing process will extend a product’s shelf life, taste and quality by up to 3 months, which means it can be safely consumed even if in some cases it’s nominal date code may have passed.
• We will only ship perishables in insulated cold shield with ice packs with 2-Day or Next Day Mail, to keep the products cold during most of the shipping time. The sausages may arrive cool or at room temperature, depending on the shipping time and outside temperatures. However, the products are still safe to eat. Please refrigerate immediately after receipt of the shipment. Extra shipping and packaging charges will apply.
