These finely ground Weisswurst are made from hormone-free, locally-sourced veal and pork, expertly seasoned with seasoned with parsley, lemon, onion, ginger and other spices. Each pack contains 4 sausages.
Weisswurst (or White Sausage) is a Bavarian specialty. The mild taste of the meat, accented by parsley note, matches the sweet mustard and should be accompanied by a cool Weissbier (wheat beer). Bavarians eat this combination as a second breakfast, before noon. We also recommend to eat Weisswurst with an original Bavarian pretzel.
The sausages should heated in water—well short of boiling—for about ten minutes, which will turn them greyish-white because no color-preserving nitrite is used in Weisswurst preparation.
