  • 1 oz white baking chocolate melted

  • Mix flour, Crunchy Honey-Nut Oats Cereals, butter, honey, egg and salt and knead until smooth. Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Decorate with melted baking chocolate or icing and immediately cut into triangles or diamond-shaped pieces.

Preparation Time: approx. 30 Minutes
Baking Time: 20 Minutes

Tips for best results

  • Cut while warm: The recipe calls for slicing immediately after decorating—this prevents cracking once the bake firms up.
  • Roll evenly: Keeping an even thickness helps the triangles bake uniformly (no dry corners, no soft centers).
  • Chocolate swirl trick: Spoon melted chocolate into a small bag, snip the corner, and pipe thin lines—then lightly drag a toothpick through for a quick bakery-style marbling.

Serving and storage

  • Serve with coffee, espresso, or tea—these are excellent as the “grand finish” to a meal, just like the page describes.
  • Store airtight so they stay crisp.
