Elderberry Spritz (Holunder Spritz)

A deep berry spritz made with Darbo Holunderbeeren-Sirup, prosecco, soda water, and ice. This Holunder Spritz is fruity, lightly tannic, sparkling, and elegant enough for brunch, garden parties, or aperitif hour.

Ingredients

  • 4 cl Darbo Holunderbeeren-Sirup Adds deep elderberry flavor, sweetness, and color.
  • 10 cl prosecco Brings bubbles and crispness.
  • Soda water Lightens the drink and adds extra fizz.
  • Ice
  • Lemon garnish, optional Adds brightness.

Instructions

  • Fill a wine glass with ice.
  • Add Darbo Holunderbeeren-Sirup.
  • Pour in the prosecco.
  • Top with soda water.
  • Stir gently.
  • Garnish with lemon or fresh herbs, if desired.
  • Serve immediately.

Tips for the Best Holunder Spritz

Use chilled ingredients for the cleanest, crispest drink.
Do not add too much syrup. Elderberry is flavorful and can become sweet quickly.
