- 5/8 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 7/8 cup milk
- 5/8 cup cream
- 1-1/4 cups fresh raspberries

- Rinse the berries thoroughly. Place in a bowl and gently mash the berries with a fork.
- In a separate bowl beat the egg and sugar together until foamy. Add the raspberries and the liquid ingredients. Put mixture into an ice cream maker. With constant stirring, the ice cream will be frozen in about 30 minutes.
- Place in a freezer-safe container and allow to freeze for about 4 hours, or until it is firm.
