Elderberry Spritz (Holunder Spritz)Elderberry Spritz, or Holunder Spritz, is deep, fruity, lightly tannic, and beautifully refreshing. Made with Darbo Holunderbeeren-Sirup, prosecco, soda water, and ice, it is an elegant sparkling drink with a darker berry character.

The elderberry syrup gives the spritz a rich fruit note, while prosecco adds crisp bubbles and soda water keeps the drink light. It is less delicate than an elderflower spritz and a little more dramatic in the glass.

Serve this Holunder Spritz for spring brunch, summer garden parties, Maifest menus, Mother’s Day, or a relaxed aperitif before dinner.
